Astrophysics group 2004

Program goals

The overarching goal of the program is to introduce graduate students at the University of Chicago to public outreach and education via the world of informal science exhibitions. This is done through a partnership between the University and the SciTech science center in Aurora. Students in the program will learn the issues and basic techniques necessary to create successful science exhibitions. Students in the program are expected to collaborate with a group of their peers to conceptualize, design, develop and test museum exhibitions.
